KKR traveled to a six-wicket win and will be glad to have become off to a poor in their opening match against Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) . Rohit Sharma's relationship with the Eden Gardens proceeded as he scored an unbeaten 84 off 54, which included 10 fours and two sixes. It was Rohit, who had won the hurl and requested that KKR bat first. Lendl Simmons did not play this match as he was discounted because of a damage and was supplanted by Parthiv.
