Australia ladies' captain Meg Lanning amped up for England ladies' Super League

Australia ladies' commander Meg Lanning said on Thursday she was excited to join in the new England ladies' Super League that will begin in July. The star batsman is one of a few top worldwide female cricketers who have marked to join the new six-group rivalry, including Stafanie Taylor, the captain of the West Indies side that beat Lanning's Australia in a month ago's World Twenty20 last in India. Lanning will join the Surrey Stars and Taylor the Western Storm, with New Zealand's Suzie Bates—picked as the Wisden Almanac's driving female cricketer of 2015 - making a beeline for the Southern Vipers.
